My curiosity in life is essentially what drives my practice. With a blend of curious observation and poetic sensibility, connectedness, temporality and stories of places are explored.

Through a process involving week-long walks and analogue techniques, the body of work emphasizes the value of disciplines that are soon to be forgotten: slowness, silence and observation. By allowing us to see what is right in front of us, the photographs highlight not only the value in the motifs themselves, but also the value of the connection to the world around you that arises when you allow yourself to be reduced to a sensing body in a tactile world.

In this way the photographs can be seen as a commentary on the alienation from nature that seems to prevail in our contemporary world.
